My story
Hello! My name is Mikolaj Dash and I am from Poland. I am proud to be polish and I am proud to live in such a great country as USA right now. I came from Central Europe in my early twenties and made my way up literally from scratch changing numerous of jobs from pizza delivery guy and bus boy to construction, roofing and moving.
From all of those odd jobs I learned number of skills that I am still using in my life. The most important of those skills is customer service.
When I first time came to work for moving company in Boston I was surprised how many new things I need to know in order to make the job right. From furniture protection and packing of the personal belongings into the boxes to driving a truck on tiny streets of North End. It was challenging. Each day was new. Hoisting of the couch to the third floor on Beacon Hill, grand piano moving in Newton, cross country trip to LA. And in the end of the day I discovered the key – the key to any business – is doing whatever it takes to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
It all started there. Important thought of changing the industry. That important step that a lot of companies missing – customer service. Using that foundation I decided to build my own moving company with the core principle – customer first. One step at the time we’ve been growing. From one truck to two trucks and so on with almost no advertisement. I am proud to be called one of the Best Boston Movers and having 70% of business as a referral one.
It takes a lot. You need to be focused. You need to be hungry. You need to be strong in order to achieve anything in life and I am glad that this important knowledge came to me early. This is the spirit of America.
